Abstract: The authors analyzed group collaborative behaviour
        by detecting patterns of interactive sequences in
        face to face meetings using time series analysis
        (the room used was the Capture Lab). If group
        process feedback is given to people participating in
        a computer-supported meeting, the number of
        socio-emotional interactive sequences increases
        significantly above the expected level. With no
        feedback, the level is substantially less than the
        expected. The findings have implications for the
        efficient use of computer technology in terms of
        maximizing its collaborative potential.
